Hey! Whoever has BG, TotSC, and haven't played through Durlags Tower, here's a taste of a real fight with the monsters you meet. Just go to the Nashkel Town, go to the graveyard area. Click on one of the graves (not sure, just keep clickin) and a mage appears up. The first time, he'll generaly give you a warning on not to do that again, but keep doing it. Eventually (SPOILER) he'll spawn 5 phoenix warriors (or somthin). You fight those guys in Durlags Tower, so practice killin em, just be sure no people get killed, especially inoccent bystanders. Also, one of the graves talks about Iollin Gallabhair. He appears in BG, and BGII, he just keeps on comin back. So he really isn't dead.

spoiler if u havent done durlag's tower yet...
. . . . . . . . . . .. . . u talk about a real taste of monster you'll face in durlag's tower and u don't mention everyone's four favorite dwarves: Fear, Love, Pride, and Avarice, *tisk tisk* that was the toughest fight i ever fought in all of BG1 and TOTSC. |
SPOILER AGAIN
- - - - - - - - The Warders weren't all that tough for me......although I knew the fight was coming, and positioned my party well. I managed to fight them only 1 or 2 at a time, and the Mage actually cast Cloudkill on himself (He cast it, and then I moved out of his sight range, so he just stood there). The Thief was annoying, though--kept Backstabbing me. Boy, I sure wish I could Hide in Shadows when I'm in full view of hostile creatures. |
Spoiler
/ / / / / / / / / The warders went down pretty fast for me allthough it took some reloads. That Aec'Letec fellow is more of a pain in the but. Those death gazes he uses are very annoyin. One of my partymembers always gets turned into a ghast. |
