OK so I accidentally made the drow go hostile in Ust Natha but i just installed the stuff of the magi today and i need to kill MATRON MOTHER ARDULANCE to get an item(by the way, this restored the item info for the staff, if you had read my other post)and i was wondering where to find her now or if I have to reload and not anger the Drow.

At what point in the underdark quests are you? As I recall, the Matron Mother appears in a few places (once at the beginning in the marketplace area when she tells you to go with Sola to rescue Phaere, then later when you go meet her in the temple with Phaere). Maybe she is waiting at one of those locations, depending on where you are in the quests? You'll probably have to fight your way through to her, though.

I hope you have a recent save game? I'd probably just use Power Word: Reload.

Just go to Ust Natha and walk to the male's fighter society. A drow named Solaufein is standing there, and IIRC, he automatically initiates dialogue with you.

but all the Drow are hostile so none will talk to me. Luckilly i have the staff of cheese for invisibility

You have a reload?

DragonSlayer25 03-27-2004 08:23 PM

yeah but it was before i helped tha damned mage that was imprisoned

Odruith 03-27-2004 08:29 PM

You should probably just reload, doing a quest over isn't a bad thing, since you could do it better and with less injuries than the previous time.

And you could use your time more efficiently, without the angry drow

DragonSlayer, how did you get all the Drows go hostile on you? what did you do (or what did you NOT do)? You may make the same mistake even if you replay from your last save game.

Jerr Conner 03-27-2004 09:53 PM

Well, from what I know before entering the Drow city there's one Hostile Drow that runs to the city gates and within. Did you attack him? That might have made the whole city hostile.

I'll also agree it's better to reload considering just that one little quest.

Illumina Drathiran'ar 03-28-2004 01:57 AM

You reload.
You won't see the Matron Mother for a while... That isn't her that gives you the quest to see Phaere, it's a Handmaiden.
You won't get the chance to see the Matron until you take care of House Despana's "problem."
