I have gone through quite a bit of the game and I can't for some reason select Windswept Hills as a travel destination even though it appears on my strategic map.
Is there someone beside "Lord Firekraag" that I need to talk to before I can go there? I want to get rid of these acorns...

You need to leave through the city gates.

But even then I wouldn't recommened doing it until after you have done some of the other quests. It is, in my estimation, the hardest dungeon in the first three chapters.

Everytime you get a new place on your map you will need to exit the city through the gates to access it.

Goes for Nalia's Keep, Trademeet, Umar Hills etc
