Sorry if this has been asked before, but i'm too lazy to look it up. :D

I'm trying to romance Jaheira, which isn't easy by the way, and i've reached the phase where you have to go to the graveyard for the final confrontation with Bodhi. Right where you appear on the map Bodhi waits for you, you'll have a little dialogue, and when it's over, Jaheira's gone....

Is she dead ? Kidnapped perhaps ?

Is this unavoidable ? And does this effect the romance in any way ? Because i haven't completed that part yet, and i'd like to do that for once this time.

A little help please.

This is a normal step in the romance. Don't worry, you'll get her back...

Edit- Make sure you pick up any equipment that might have been dropped on the ground.

Okay, i went through with it, and jaheira was killed (by Drizzt i think, i kept avoiding her blows and focussed on Bodhi). Now i have her dead body in my inventory, what am i supposed to do with it. Go to a temple ?

Temples won't be able to help you with there raise dead spells. You must find another way to bring Jaheria back. There is some books near where you fought Bodhi that should give you a hint of what to do. If you follow up the clues in the books there may be a few people in Amn who can give you some useful advice. I'll give you a tip- make sure you take Bodhi's heart. I'll give you the spoiler to tell you exactly what to do below but try and figure it out yourself first, Johhny.

Take Jaheria's body and Bodhi's heart and put them together in the statue past the lettered floor trap in the Umar Hills dungeon. The statue is the one that says something like "It is waiting for something to be put in it's arms" when you click on it.

Got it, thanks. I've been through SoA several times now, but i've had never much interrest in the romance issues, this time i wanted to do things properly, and it seems it finally pays off. I haven't gone all the way yet, but i have no doubts it will come to that this time. She's playing hard to get, that's all. :D

Ya know, I've gotten to this point in the game multiple times, romancing either Jaheira or Aerie, and Bodhi's never kidnapped her.

Is this a bug, or did I just do an exceptional job in slaying those bloodsuckers?

it depends how far into the romance you are, if you are quite well into the romance she kidnaps her...I don't think (correct me if im wrong) the kidnapping actually makes any difference to the romance but the fact she kidnapped and turned her means your on the right track..

It doesnt matter how tough you are as bohdi kidnaps romance npc's as get kidnapped during ther dialogue no matter what if they are advanced enough

Your ??????ROMANCEACTIVE variable has to be at 2 for Bodhi to kidnap someone - presumably since you can only (legitimately) have 1 character at 2 but you could have several set to 1, which could wind up with your whole party getting kidnapped if that's all it took. [img]smile.gif[/img]

So, if you arrive too early, your romance may not be far enough along for Bodhi to recognize it & act accordingly.

I'm just curious here, will the romance dialogues continue in ToB ?

If you complete the romance in SoA then they will cross over into ToB
