Hi everyone, I'm at the tannery in the bridge and I can't get the tanner to run downstairs so I can follow. I don't want to kill the mercenaries but I can't seem to get any action. Tia

I was thinking that, but the mercenaries are in the room, and I thought they were needed for another quest, but then the chances of me hitting all the quests, my first time through , is minamal. Right now, I want to have fun and get my bearing. Just stated gaming in the winter and have played through ice wind dale and I'm working on Diablo, but my skills aren't perfected!! if you talk to him first time without finding him out, he says "i'll have guards next time" or something
second time he has guards, they have to purpose than to attack you when he runs off [img]smile.gif[/img]

....Mercenaries? I don't remember any mercenaries on the main floor.

Depending on which dialogue options you pick the first time depends if he has mercenaries the next time you visit
If you are doing the quest the second time you'd probably talk to everyone then find him out, instead of talking to one person, talking to tanner, asking other people etc.
