Korgan's always rushing on certain quests, and I was just wondering if the are some time limits on some quests to complete them, to prevent Korgan leaving from the party? Do I need to go and rush into a quest just because he says so?

Thanks.

I know he rushes on his own personal quest and the Valygar and the Cowled Wizards quests.

When I had him in my party, I didn't act straight away when he gave me his 'hurry up' talk. Infact I completed Watcher's Keep and he still never left my party.

Now, thats just personal experience, not actual facts whether or not there is a time limit. But, from my experiences, no, there is no time limit.

Sorry if that doesnt help you much, im sure there are others who can elaborate further.

Hope it helped though

Ok, thanks.

I have to disagree, kestrel. I'm pretty sure, there is a time limit, but it takes a fair while. Although i might be completly wrong, but i'm prety sure he does leave after a while.

Kestrel Daystar 01-13-2005 11:11 AM

Alright, I wasnt completely sure. I was only answering from my game experiences. I may have just got to the quest in time before he left, I dont know.

Sorry about that info then Euso.

Korgan's hastiness is probably just meant to be a manifestation of his Chaotic Evil, me-first alignment.

I usually find that you can ignore the first warning to go on their quest, but if you get a second you really should get round to it fairly quickly because I have had NPC's leave eventually...

Korgan stuck by you all through Watcher's Keep because it really doesn't take that long to do Watcher's Keep. Not as long as it would take to, say, walk to the Druid Grove and back.

Korgan will leave the party if you put off doing the Book of Kaza quest for too long. On the other hand, you can ignore Tolgerias's quest forever and he'll still follow you, since the nebulous reward promised by Tolgerias is likely peanuts compared to what the party is earning anyway.

I've spent ages wandering around while on the book quest and he hasn't left me once.

Put it this way, the time limit on him leaving is massive. There's no need at all to worry about it.

Kestrel Daystar 01-14-2005 07:32 AM

As long as you do get round to doing it at some point, but that goes without saying... Even though I said it, hmmm.

Have you done any of the quests he tries to push you into doing?
