Ok, I have been trying for days to find the handle for the mallet to ring the gong.No handle=no mallet=no ringy-dingy. Can anyone give me a hint. Thanks.

A hint... let's see... Two clues: 1) You have surely passed it over if you have the other pieces, and 2) something else in the area might have drawn your attention and perhaps you forgot to look.

Don't worry, it's there. I thought roaming around BG city should have taught you that if you want to find stuff, you have to mouse-over EVERY box and EVERY bag and EVERY barrel and EVERY shelf? [img]smile.gif[/img] I found that this mouse-over thing is especially important in Durlag's; there's so dang much to find, and if you're not meticulous, you will NOT find it. What I find annoying is that the "Use this Device" icon looks so much like the "You Can't Walk Here" icon--that's why it took me so long to find the damn forge.

One thing in Durlag's you don't need to worry about: If there's something you need to do (a riddle to solve, an obstacle to overcome, a door to get through), the answer can be found ON THAT LEVEL of Durlag's, so you don't need to go running up & down staircases looking for things. Also, your actions on one floor will not affect anything on any of the other floors.

Thanks for your quick response guys. I have the mallet head, I know that you need to affix it to something with the forge, I can't seem to find that "something".
