I have installed BG II successfully before on my computer, and had to uninstall it because it took too much space on my computer.
After awhile, I cleaned my computer, and wanted to install it again. I tried, and it was going great. It hit 73% and asked for disk 2. i put it in, and said okay. About half a second later, it asked for disk 3. I wondered, but put the disk in, and selected okay. The another half second passed and it asked for disk 4. I was confused, but I did it anyway. Once again, I selected okay. Then a half second passed and it asked for *disk 5* I thought it was Tob, but it wasn't. Any and all help would be appreciated. |
Note: This has never happened to me. I had just installed the "Song and Silence" mod, but deleted it, so I don't think thats it. I also deleted all of my mods, so it shouldn't be them.

When it asks for disk 5 try reinserting disk 1.

Try going here for more information on the "Insert Disk 5" error. It is a known game bug, which has nothing to do with any mod.

Scroll down to the FAQ part, and there's links to the SoA Bioware & Baldurdash patches and the ToB Bioware & Baldurdash patches, depending on if you have the expansion installed. |
Thanks
