i have been doing the mae'var guild hall quest and when asked to go and kill that cowled wizzard, i walked upstairs to the third floor, and then went back down again, he followed me, so i went back up again, this time i lost him. i buffed up and wend down again, this tiem there were two of him! not as tin mislead or mirror images, there wer two, so i ran away and then came back again and there was 3, so i ran and came back, until there was about ten of them! I had to reload, and fight only three of them at once, which was quite difficult.

Anyway, later Brus came ot me saying Gaylen has a new offer for me, but there were 5 brus', strange...

another possible bug is that some people wont talk to me, it just says that "person" appears to be busy, and i cant initiate dialogue, its really annoying, i can save and then re-load and sometimes i works on 2nd try, or if not then the 3rd time it usually works.

has anybody ever come across these bugs?

i dont have any mods other than bonus merchants.

Get the official patch from Bioware and the Baldurdash fixpack. They will fix those bugs.

That will fix the dreaded "X appears busy" bug, but not the others. Many players have seen MultiBrus (I'm one of them) at least once, but since they all disappear as soon as you talk to one of them, it won't affect your game. Enemies cloning themselves as a result of your moving from 1 area to another is also a known bug, and results from them trying to follow you. The game has to remove Creature X in its current condition from Area 1, and re-create Creature X in its current condition in Area 2, which can be a bit tricky. To ensure that the game never deletes an enemy by removing it and forgetting to re-create it (a bug that would make many quests unfinishable, including this one), BioWare took the alternate path and included directions to always re-create the creature in the event of an area change.
