Im fairly new here, been reading posts since past couple weeks while waiting for approval [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Anyways, I dunno if this is right forum to post this with, but I have huge problem with BG2 or should I say my system has.

Im running p4 3.4gh 2gb ddr 400 ram computer with dual monitor through Radeon 9800XT 256.

My problem is, when I go to game start playing, 'none' of my buttons works... (attack, stealth, cast)example I want to use special ability from my hero, the bar opens and I choose for example 'heal' then if I wait longer than 6 seconds the heal icon(cursor) disapperes and I cannot click the special ability button again. Actually I cannot use ANY of the buttons anymore, they just wont work.

I get these to work if I open any characters inventory and close it, then I can click the buttons again, but again I have only 6 seconds time after I press the button, after that they just stops working and I have to open inventory and close it.

does anyone had similiar problem? I would really like to know if this can be fixed :( It's really pain in the ass to play like this and honestly I havent played trhough the prison part yet :(

Please, if anyone could assist me with anyway I'd appreciate it or point to right direction!

I dont think the problem is with your system, as it seems ot me to be pretty solid. Easily enough to run BG 2 well enough.
Unfortunately i can offer no other advice than to download the latest patch from here: http://www.bioware.com/games/shadows...pport/patches/
That is assuming yo do not have tob installed. You should also download the baldurdash fixpack from here:
http://www.baldurdash.org/

This may fix your problems. I can also reccomend a re-install of the whole game if this does not work, then try to patch the game again.

Are you using a wireless keyboard?

What class are you using, and did you happen to put on any equipment yet?

Yes I am using a wireless keyboard, could it be the problem? Havent had time yet to re-install the game.

I dont think class/characters matters since this happens everytime I try to start the single/multiplayer game :(

I tried to play with ps2 mouse and usb keyboard, same problem as I stated before, no work.

What I didnt try was to reboot computer after I switched wireless keyboard/mouse off. Should I try this one too... ohh boy

It is not about the connections, but the software and the changes it makes to your registery. Have you actually disabled the software yet? Have you actually tried the solutions given in this thread which was given in the link I made?

I dont have the logitechs Itouch installed on my computer so i hardly cannot remove it [img]smile.gif[/img] I tried another usb slot, I tried wired mouse/keyboard. Doesnt seem to work.

So if it's the software and I dont have it installed, never had, what could cause this? :(

if you still havent tried reboot, try it
