After hearing good things about it, I decided to install it myself. So I downloaded the thing, extracted the thing, had it tell me it was in the wrong place, deleted everything, extracted it again, ran it, answered the questions it asked and waited it to run. The next bit at the readme was "Play BG using BGII’s engine!" so I double clicked on Baldur.exe. It worked as good as ever, so I decided to actually see if it worked by creating a new character. I got a roll of 89 on my third try and decided to go with it. After finishing the character I clicked the button that normally takes me to the game. It did nothing whatsoever. After waiting a few minutes, watching my computer do nothing at all, I started hitting the various keys that normally do something in windows. And as they did nothing, I started hitting random keys in hope it spontaneously started working. After that I manually restarted the computer.

I have a nagging feeling that it's not supposed to do that. What should I do to make it do something else?
