Well, I tried to put his skull (is it his?) the necklace in the 'container/bed' then clicked on my elven holywater and nothing happens.. Am I doing something wrong? Overlooking something? Ok, his defiled grave is the left room. There are actually 3 rooms in a row. so make sure you put the skull and the necklace in the left room grave area.
Once you put those 2 in, you should see a message stating "if you had some holy water, you could such and such..""
I think just clicking on the grave with holy water in your inventory will sprinkle it on and finish that quest.
