I'm just curious on how many reloads ya'll went through when using the deck of many things? Also what draws did you keep and if anyone actually got three benificial draws in a row with out any reloads.
Im still reloading after numerous bad draws. The worst was when my protaginast became permanently dired charmed. No way to kill him and ressurect.And of course being polymorphed into a bunny sucked pretty hard too. I've got the whiny old versus guide, which shows some pretty cool possibilities, if only I could get some of them.

I believe only the exp. points and the gold are permanent - a restoration spell should do the trick.

I think you can get a Ring of Protection +3 from the deck, but as much as I tried it, I never got this ring. After (I think 2 hours) of reloading, I thought the experience bonus was the best. I got at last the jester card (50000 XP), then sun (350000 XP) and then throne (1000000 XP). So each of my character got a Levelup, and that was worth it...

Damn... I never killed that dumbass cambion. sounds like I should have, instead of playing his stupid game.

I haven't been to watcher's keep yet, but there are some good bonuses. Odds are you're going to get the negative ones. You can get a ring of protection +3 but don't count on it. You might as well cheat for the blasted thing. You can also get +1 to strength, wisdom, or intelligence. It depends on your class. +1 to strength for fighters etc.

I went for this combo:
- donjon (imprison, save at -4)
- star (got +1 strength for my monk)
- throne (1.000.000 exp)
I read in an older post, that you can't get 'throne' if you didn't get at least one bad draw, not sure if it's true though.
took me about 15 minutes or about 10-20 reloads for each draw. the probabilities for various options are in my experience anything but equal; I remember getting 'ruin' on about half of the tries on the first draw...
