I'm playing through SoA again, with new characters, in preparation to really kick A** in ToB. I know that there is a patch out there to give your fighters an extra attack if they attain grandmastery in a weapon discipline. This seems like not cheating, just makes sense.
Anyway, Baldurdash says you aren't supposed to apply the patch with ToB installed. Anyone done this? Have any bad effects on the game? For that matter, has anyone installed other baldurdash fixes safely? Thanks. |
I just Installed ToB today. GM patch works OK dont worry. It's GREATTTT

Well the 'patch' only effects WSPECIAL.2DA and WSPATCK.2DA IIRC and those files weren't updated for TOB, so as Zoltán says, no problem. You can always give yourself as many attacks as u want by editing the 2nd file....just make the negative numbers -4 or -5 hehe. Who needs whirlwind attack? And u can set your damage and speed bonus in the first file, for each proficiency level. This way u can even add new proficieny levels like 6 or 7 or 8 stars in a weapon.
