Is it possible to imoprt characters from BG2 TOB into BG1 which races and classes don't exist in BG1? - Like a Wild Mage or a Half-Orc

If you import a character into BG1 will I still have the lvl 10 spells, will I still gain experience, and stuff like that?

No. The import process is a one way street .. you can go from BG1 to Bg2 but not in reverse.

You could still put your character file in the Baldurs gate 1 character folder. However most of the spells and abilities wouldn’t have been implemented so it might crash or not work or something like that. You would probably keep you level though.

Maybe, but the point of the post seemed to be "Can I keep the kit and special abilities?" And the answer is NO.

The 10th level spells and special abilties are not implemented in BG1, nor are many of the specific kit abilities. It might be possible to use a character editor to CREATE them from scratch though.

I would love to import my lvl22 cavelier into BG1, i could finish off every baddie in the game with one or two blows.

I do believe my level 33 monk from ToB could solo BGI without a single reload..lol!

yeah, my 31st level elven sorceror could probably rip through bg1 in about two hours, lol.
