I am considering playing through the game with a barbarian, prehaps a half orc (19 STR 19 CON) but the fact that you cannot wear plate mail is making me unsure, does there high HP make up for this?. Although their Barbarian rage is tempting.

Any Barbarian players out there? What are your opinions?.

Ive just finished a game with a barbarian, was great fun! Had him sword and shield style with Crom feyer and shield of the order +4 (better than sentinal)
You can get some amazing armour for barbarians so the non plate thing isnt a problem, was wearing my white dragon scale. The huge HP is brilliant aswell. I reakon apart they are the best fighters, except monks of course!!

The barbarian rage isnt that great though

The Barbarian rage is good with the Mind sheild. [img]smile.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img] and u dont get fatigued after using it unlike the bezerker Rage [img]smile.gif[/img]

Barberians are like berserkers but better they cant wear plate armour but white dragon scale is very good as well i used one with sword and shield, i had the axe of unyielding+5 and some cool shield cant remember name though, there great fun because of there high hp.

I think I need to try this too...are there any barbarian quest strongholds in the game...?
Or do I get the Nalia quest as a fighter person?

Yes u get the De'Arnise Qeust for a stronghold

The hp more than makes up for the lack of plate mail. just think about being at level 19 with 184 health. (thats what i ended up with. [img]smile.gif[/img] )
