Ok, I am thinking about creating a Cavalier and Romancing Viconia to have convert to a good aligment.
I suspect I need to always answear the good thing in the lovetalk, but it seem to me that doing so would have her think me weak and would not have her fall in love with my pc. I don't want to lose my time and get to the end of the game to find out it was not that. Can anyone who has been able to convert her tell me what they did? Thanks. |
I've done this, and you are correct in saying that you have to talk to her in a good way when you have those romance dialogues, what i aactualy did is rushed through the underdark and let that elf cast the gears spell on her

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . >She'll think you're weak no matter what you say to her, if I'm correct. Remember that she's a female Drow, and you're just a lowly male Rivvil. But saying the 'good-aligned' things is not the same as being a weak-willed tree-hugging 'pacivist'. You can still convert her to neutral (she'll never become good) without being a complete pansy. |
Thanks, I will give it a try in my next game.

I'm replaying the game again and wanted to pick up Viconia. After picking up Viconia, I noticed a few days later that my chaotic good human fighter's (main character) alignment is now neutral evil. I haven't killed any innocents or done the typical evil deeds. Does playing out the romance with Viconia make me evil and does anyone know if its possible for me to get back to good alignment.

I am uncertain as to how this works out in TOB.
Spoiler... . . . . . . . . .. . I have romanced Vic many times in SOA. You need to trade off being crass and kind with her in the beginning, a little of both. Once she starts opening up to you, then you treat her the way you would a woman you really care about, with loving kindness even when she is harsh and somewhat cruel. She will fall in love with you. DON'T READ FURTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW THIS TURNS OUT ! ! ! ! . . . . . . . .. . . .. No matter what you do in SOA, ultimately the romance is doomed and Vic will tell you that she really does love you in her way, but that it must end between you no matter what. And it is over. So I don't know how they re-invigerate this relationship in TOB. . It hasn't happened for me. . Someone else may know. . |

Thanks. It must be the blackrazor. Tis too good a weapon to pass up. I transferred my 34 fighter and 11 ranger / 33 cleric and all my gear from tob to SoA. I just wanted to fly through the game fast and check out the Viconia story line.
It really caught my attention when I saw her last name was deVir. I was about half way through the Dark Elf trilogy when I went through the BG2 game the first time. It seems that they did a great job of keeping the timeline pretty accurate with the Drizzt line of books. Thanks, Glaivas Gastondale |
i know this is way off topic but anyways here goes:
is there any reaction what so ever when vicona meets drizzt???? after all.......dourden and devir is the best of friends |

I'm having problems now keeping her because my reputation is up to 20 right now and she has finally had enough and leaves. Also when is the earliest she can be converted to neutral alignment (SoA or ToB). I did the only thing I could think of to keep her. I exported my main character and then reloaded him up so my reputation would be 11. What I need to know is if I will lose any of my dialogue with her and other characters in the game as the game treats the character as a new player. Thanks, Glaivas Gastondale |
