My Archer could be amazing, could he not? Thanks.

IIRC (it's been a while since I've played BG2/ToB) yes, it does.

EDIT: Afterthought, my deeply filosophical phrase for today: Archers are machineguns with GWW. :D

hehe... It does indeed work. I love using Vhailors Helm to make 2 Sarevoks... Clone runs in with GWW and Silver Sword and hacks away at enemies, while other Sarevok, notclone, uses GWW and Firetooth to rip through the enemy which is occupied with the nobody. hehe, VERY effective against minor bosses, but found VERYVERY not enough against overweight orc (aka Yaga Shura)... Man, improved Yaga Shura takes a LONG TIME to kill! I swear I delt AT LEAST 500 damage... man, NUTS! Still, very fun watching his swarms flail about blindly (literally) after Haer Dallis used Glitterdust (my new fav spell btw hehe), slow and Harp of Pandemonium ad naseum. hehe, I'm SOOOO evil. Oh, Aerie tossing in a Greater Mallasion or 3 didn't hurt. ;)

Hmm IIRC it works... cause Archers do benefit from it so its great :D

GWW does not work only for archers

Try it with Mazzy and Gesen Bow :D

TIP: If you have a fighter/mage, cast Improved Alacrity first, then use Greater Whirlwind and then Smite. It's bending the rules slightly, but Improved Alacrity doesn't distinguish between arcane spells and innate abilities. Watch them all fall down. ;D

maybe tenser's should come before everything else because its duration is a lot longer than the others', and casting it after smite would waste time during your GWW

Too bad F/M/T's can't cast Level 9 spells under the EXP cap, as otherwise it'd be Tenser's->Time Stop->Improved Alacrity->Greater Whirlwind->Critical Strike->Assassination. With Angurvadal+5 dual-wielded with the Answerer, naturally.

If I recall correctly, Tensor's Transformation disables your ability to cast other spells, including the HLAs and other innate abilities. I am not certain however, as it has been some time since I played with my Blade.
