Weell. I killed Marek when he warned me to keep away from the Iron Throne, I had no idea he had to cure my poison later, and now Marek wont even show up, upstairs in the Blushing Mermaid Inn. Can someone help?

well you have 2 choices download gatekeeper(Cheating) or reload a saved game.

GateKeeper is a BG save game editor that will let you put the antidote in your inventory.

What if he doesn't have an old save? And he probably killed cuz he's a jerkoff, noone likes him, i made the same mistake. So i just hightaled and killed sarevok and beat the game b4 the ten days. Besides, I consider what i did to marek as a small "cleansing" of balders gate :D

You may not even have to reload.....I think if you kill Marek AND Lothander the first time you meet them, Lothander never grabs you and tells you about the poison, so the quest is never initiated, so you won't die. Did you kill Marek and let Lothander get away?

There has to be a way to solve this using the cheat codes and resetting a global variable. AZRED!!!! Where are you??? This is RIGHT up your alley!!! lol

Actually, I think I saw a post on this before.

I did the same thing once. If you don't have a saved game, you can always just go ahead and finish the game. The poison doesn't kill you for 10 days which should be plenty of time to finish.

Assuming you don't have a lot of unfinished quests, of course.

Am I the only one who was never poisoned by this Marek guy? I met with both these clowns...and came out unscathed (whilst the same might not be said for them. ::shakes head:: Must've been a glitch...or maybe he took pity on my poor gnomish ftr cleric being forced to wear a beard she did not want!
