Hmmm... I´m a bit worried now...I just installed XP on my 1200 AMD and re-installed BG2ToB...Yipeeeee!
But the cursor in game seems to be moving in a very jerky way and reactions are kinda slow!
Does anybody have the same problem and does anybody have a solution?

If its just the cursor there an option for cursors to be handled in software which is slower than the default hardware - but more reliable.

But since youve just installed a new OS your likley to need new drivers for optimal performace. Go to the manufacturers sites and get XP compatible ones - others might or might not run, but will probably have problems.

The go to www.glsetup.com and run that. After doing that your system should be in OK shape.

Also I would advise installing the latest patch for BG II/ToB since it's been known that there are problems related to running it under Win XP. This translates in the following text appearing in your dialogue window: "Cannot intiate dialog. xxx appears to be busy"
Because of this no quests can be completed and xp-values will not be regarded in level-calculations. I had this problem myself and a lot of people experienced the same as you can see in the older postings.
