Hmm, TOB only had 3 endings right? You could become an evil god, a good god, or a mortal. I was playin accension the other day, and I was thinking... What if there was an option to JOIN Alemisane. She already has enough power right? Enough of the Essence, and if you, the Terror of the Sword Coast joined her, the child of Bhaal, center of the prophacy.. it'd be kinda cool,. I mean, I can see a CE char doing that. He (or she) Betrays his party, and IF you had Balthazar and Imeon, you slay them, sarcificing em to your "new Goddess"... argh, there could be another Epilouge as well... Alemisane and the lasting remaing Bhaalspawn have an offspring, born of Murder... hmm, I think it would have been an interesting option, if only for the sake of varity. I mean, can you picture you char saying: "I wish to serve you, as my queen, together, we shall rule the realms, allow me to join you... and I shall serve thee faithfully... let me begin by offering you a sarcifice, my companions, I shall spill their blood as I turn to you..."

that way, the more evil options you have, the better the good options actually are... that debate about no evil there can be no good n all that stuff... so whatcha think?

Cousin, it's brilliant. Believe me, I'm not biased at all.
It is such a refreshing and original idea to grant the PC the option of serving instead of ruling, I don't know why noone thought of that before.
And since that option would allow you to keep your powers, there would even be room for a BG3. Simply brilliant is all I can say.

Yeah, you have a point, BUT they could have made it so you dont *have* to kill her. I mean, considering you've slaughtered your way though loads of ppl... altho, you COULD still fight her, after you've offered your services, and when shes near death, offer to serve her. Altho that wouldnt make much sense. Hmm. I still think it coulda been a nice alternate ending. ;)

Hrm... are you talking about skipping the final fight this way or not? B/c if you do the final fight why wouldn't you just kill her and take all that power for yourself?

No evil character worth his/her salt will want to submit him/herself to Melissan. This is the lady that wants you dead, logically, this means you have a grudge against her. In addition, Melissan cannot attain true Godhood until she obtains all the essence, which includes you.

s'pose u got a point. Still, it *would* be "odd" to betray your entire party and slay them... usually you dont do that in RPGs... ;)

What I can find pausible though, is teaming up with Irenicus. You offer to help him sap the Tree of Life if he agrees to return your soul, then the two of you can go on a merry spree killing Elves like Elhan. ;)

lol, yessss, I can see how an evil dwarf, 1/2Orc or gnome would hate elves, and it would be the perfect chance to destroy them once and for all, die die die die die die die die die...

why didn't you notice elves are only 1 step away from evils (with a few letter rearrangements of course)
