BARD, I hear allot of ppl complaining on the class, but, I have
seen some who seems to like the class. Well, my question is,
what do you think is the pros and cons of the Bard class???

Is he a good party member?

And a question about exporting chars from BG1 to BG2, how does
it work? You keep your eq?

And new classes you have to start from the begining in BG2? As
you cant play thrue BG1 with em?

I actually think he can come in handy in bg 1
The thing is he won't be able to cast magic as good asa mage but
that is compromised by his fighting abilties
so
another pro is his very high lore rating and his pick pocketing

If you've got a powerful mage Get the Bard (presume you be talking of Gerrick?)

Bards are the best!!!

Everyone loves a Bard! But i guess a Bard is a luxury-an interesting character though! Ive not used one in BG1,but in Icewind dale a Bard will get information and goodies the others cannot.

I´ve never played the bard and probably never will, at least until I find some armor to use with them, as fighter´s armors don´t allow him casting spells and he can´t use mage robes. Not in BG but in IWD there are some good items for bards, but still they aren´t enough to choose a bard instead of a mage or fighter or thief or cleric or ranger or paladin...
