i'm currently playing in SOA, with TOB installed. My party is all multiclass:
ftr/mage - 13/13
cleric/ranger - 14/12
fighter/thief - 13/16
Aerie - 14/13
all have around 2720000 combined XP

The problem is I know multiclassed chars are supposed to recieve hla's earlier than others, but the only one to recieve any so far is my ranger/cleric. Is this a bug? Why haven't any of my other chars recieved any TOB abilities even though they have higher/more combined lvls than the ranger/cleric?

HLAs do not start coming at X level. If they did, Thieves would start getting them at Level 15, because that's when pure Druids first get theirs.

Each character gets his/her first HLA at the first Level Up when the character's total EXP meets or exceeds 3,000,000 EXP. Your Ranger/Cleric got his first because he has more EXP than the others--I'm guessing he's in the top slot.

No, he doesn't have 3,000,000 XP. His XP is 1,355,551/1,355,551. And he's not even in the top slot. That's what I don't understand.

Jaheira got her first ability at like, lvl 14 or 15 druid, i can't remember which. Which wasn't strange since i think she had less than 3M xp. BTW, does HLA stand for High Level Abilities?

Uhh.....you're right, I don't understand that either. Are you SURE he has a HLA at those numbers? If he does, you must have some funky bug.

Jaheira should normally get her first HLA at Level 14 Druid. Level 14 Druid is 1,500,000, so her Fighter half must be 1,500,000 as well.....add them together and you get 3 million.

I've already gotten whirlwind and greater whirlwind. Not a bad bug to have, I suppose. I do have all the patches, including Baldurdash btw.
