I was trying to install ToB on windows XP and the following turned up about 30% through startup:

COMPONENT TRANSFER EROOR
Component: Required_Data
File Group: HD025Music
File: G:/data2.cab
Error: Incorrect function

Amy ideas?

Probably a dirty or scratched CD.

EDIT: It didn't work.

<span style="color: lightblue">Do you have a CD burner? If you do, try installing through it rather than your normal CDROM drive. Burners tend to read over scratches and dirt alot better than the ordinary drives.

think have found problem. two dents on disc. Will get new CD. a freind has offered to lend me one. with luck, will work.
