What, exactly does the emperor grant? If you have no idea what this is, stop reading, as there may be spoilers.

Looking under SK, it seems that the emperor gives 10 different things:
Portrait Icon
0x00AE EFF_E04
Immunity to Effect 5
Immunity to Effect 128
Immunity to Effect 24
0x00A9 0
0x00A9 3
0x00A9 43
0x00A9 1
0x0128 SPCONFUS

Now I can pretty much only guess as to what it does. The Portrait is obvious. The three immunities are charm (5) confusion (128) and panic (24). At least that's what I think is going on there. Xyx's immunities guide helped me finding that much out. But is this all? And does the emperor really give me resist fear? If panic is 24, what is the significance of break morale 106? If you are immune to panic, can you still break morale and act as if you are a panic state? What about the AE, A9, and 128s? What the heck do they do? If anyone knows anything about this, please comment. I don't remember enough about the emperor to know what it defends against, but a lot of these things are confusing to me. Perhaps the AE etc... are immunities to a specific spell, such as the 128 grants immunity to a special type of confuse that bypasses the normal immunity to confuse?

Emperor gives you a permanent Mind Shield.

There are so many mind shields out there, and they all don't confer the same abilities. Staff of the Magi has no mind shield, yet it works JUST LIKE helm of charm protection, which has one. Aeger's hide, while conferring a mind shield, still allows domination and charm spells to charm your PC, thus losing a solo game.

Also, the mind shield isn't "permanant." It lasts 10 days, but that is more than enough time to beat the game.

Yeah, Emperor is limited to 10 days, not permanent. Emperor has 12 effects with Baldurdash:

Character Color (1 second visual)
Play 3d Effect (another visual)
Play Sound (eff_e04, when duration expires)
Display Portrait Icon (Mind Shield)
Immunity to effect x3 (Charm, Panic, Confusion)
Prevent Portrait Icon x4 (Charm, Confusion, Domination, Dire Charm)
Immunity to Animation (SPCONFUS)

It's probably a lot easier to use an actual modding tool for checking out effects rather than SK.
