Hi,

I've just finished clearing the ice cave area on the other side of the bridge in chapter 5. According to the walk thru, I was supposed to talk to Joril in the throne room. But he's not there. Now what? Don't I need his badge to finish the game?

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

IIRC if you attack the Giants while they're still neutral, they'll all come after you, from all corners of the map. I assume Joril would be among them. I can't be sure about this, but that's what happened with the Fire Giants and Illmadia. So if this is what happened, Joril's corpse should have the badge, as well as some other goodies. The problem is, he looks like all the other giants, so you'll have to scavenge through the bodies till you find his.
However, if this isn't what happened, disregard what I just rambled about

Same thing happened to me, just search the bodies and you will find the badge.

Thanks for the info. Finally found the badge on the ground. I was looking for a conversation with Joril and wasn't thinking about searching the badge on the ground. Onward to chapter 6....
