I seem to be having the same problem the UK version of the game -- I cannot gain access to lower levels of Dorn's Deep after correctly solving the puzzle. This bug is identified on the Interplay website. I have applied pastch 1.06 & I even tried the fix for the UK to no avail.

Are any other US users experiencing this issue?
