Help appreciated!
Really Stuck in IWD Chapter 4 for 6 weeks!
I am in early Dorn's Deep.
Done the following:
1/ Killed all Drow in main area.
2/ Gone and helped the Umber Hulk with getting that badge thing
3/ Found someones body and journal.
4/ Wiped out all minor caves.
5/ Opened secret door in the round table room. Went in and disarmed the three ring traps.
said: "you hear a final loud click in the round table room"
I went back but there weren't any stairs! I was told some stairs will take me to fight a lich near
the hall of heros.
WHERE ARE THE STAIRS???

I had the exact same problem.

You need to go back to the room with the table that looks like the puzzle. One of the stone dwarves lowered his hammer. Click on the hammer and the stairs in the puzzle appear.

Whoa thanks...I haven't tried it! Uh...I can't get used to IWD after finishting BG2 7 times. The spells are better though! Is there a shadowkeeper thing for IWD. I want my ranger to be a druid!
Is this dwarf in the puzzle room or the table room. I can't find it!

The statue of the dwarf with the hammer is near the secret door in the table room.

I am not joking. I've completed BG2 and BG so no mistakes.
You say click on the statue? You can't!

The statue should be two or three to the right of the doorway to the back puzzle room. The hammer on that statue should be hanging straight out from the statue.

The hammer on the statue should be lower ...sticking out from the statue in a manner different from the others it is the right arm of the statue. It should turn blue when you place the cursor on it.
