When if fight Lysan, it always says that the weapon is ineffective..
Any help would be appreciated.

Mm! Did you pick up the +1 sword as you explored the other tombs? You should have picked up some reasonable stuff in Kresselak's Tomb as well. They should work.
Also Mage spells work. Good idea to cast 'silence' on her, too, before she starts casting herself.
