Hi

I'm new,just joined up the board.I hope you can help me with a problem I've had with playing the game.

I've finished most of what I think you have to do in wyrmtooth so I try to go into the only cave I haven't been to yet. But when I do the game crashes and it says

"an assertion failed in infinity.cpp at live number 1763 programmer says :D emand for WED file failed"

The offical site say they have a patch to fix this but when I click on the link nothing loads.

Help!

Which patch are you trying to download? Do you have HOW installed? Do you have TOL installed?

Well, if you have them or not, I suggest you try reinstalling your game. If not try reformatting and installing.

There may be something wrong with your comp.

try installing the patch ver1.06 i had the same problem

make sure you get the patch appropriate for the proper language version of the game that you have.

the problem there is exactly the same as yours

its not a patch issue, but rather a system resource issue; try increasing the size of your cache if you can spare the space ... that should eliminate future problems
