can any one help me. I am stuck in the lower levels of durlag's tower. I entered a bedroom when dopplerganger attacked me. I took some ward stones out of the tables in the room and then the doors shut. Nothing seems to work to get me out. Please help me out.

i believe you have to play around with statues and levers to use the doors

move a person into the room with the sparring-dummies and attack them - IIRC it is the middle one that opens the door

If your entire party is in the room - check the end of the room opposite the bed - the way the doppelganger came in.

Failing that, try putting the wardstones back into the containers you got them from, and take them out again. If you're not sure which stone went where, you may have to experiment.

I had that same problem but I got frustrated and used one of the codes to transport me to a free area. Well now I know what t do and I;m almost there again just my game hasn't been cooperating very well lately.

IIRC then either after you kill the doppleganger or after removing one of the wardstones (the Islanne one I think) a door should open leading into a room with two statues which can be used. You should have used one of them to get into the room you got stuck in. Use the other one and another door should open into a training room. Then you should be away.
At least, that's how I did it...
