i made the mistake to make my party consist of mostly multiclass members. does anyone know how i can mess witht he maximum hit points thing someone was telling me about? and can someone help me cheat cause i cant seem to change the file or even find it for that matter.

<font color=silver>Do you really want to modify your characters? You've managed to get pretty far into the game with them. While my own preference is not to use multi-classed characters I wouldn't say that they are worse.

Your characters are still low enough in level that setting them for maximum hit points for each level should take care of your concerns about them having enough hit points. Changing this setting should be pretty easy:

Start your game. Then press the button you would normally press to save the game. When the new screen comes up press the tab that says, 'Gameplay.' On this screen you will see a list of items that can be checked ro unchecked -- one of these allows you to set your characters to receive the maximum number of hit points when they increas in level. Select this and close out of the screen and see if this helps you out as you continue to adventure.

NOTE: The difference won't start kicking in until your characters advance in level and will only affect the new levels.</font>

<font color=silver>I agree. You're much better avoiding a program like Dalekeeper until you have both played through the game without it and have become comfortable with the diverse features of the game interface.

You'll find that people here are more than willing to help you master the game and the experience of playing through your mistakes is really worthwhile -- the first time through the game is the most exciting.</font>

Dalekeeper is a character editor. (I'm no sure of the download location ... but you can do a web search to find it.)

Personally, i don't use it. Azred and some others do to create special items.

Hello, all!
I avoid those programs for two reasons: I'm not competent enough with a PC to use them, and I want a cleaner game. I feel plenty bad about using this forum w/ questions & I have looked over the walkthroughs. As a survival technique/cheat I imported a character of higher level from an earlier game to help a new party get through some tight spots. A quick question, though... Does anyone know where there might be Elven Chain? Have a great weekend!

THere are two sets of elven chain in the game. One set can be obtained from Kaylessa in the Severed Hand after you kill her, but that is a random item. You could just as easily get her gloves, boots or a bow. The other set is also random, and is also found in the Severed Hand in the Correlon tower if I remember right. [img]smile.gif[/img]
