Greetings,

I'm curious as to when I should begin Trials of the Luremaster during hte Heart of Winter campaign, taking balance, storyline, and time into account.

I was thinking I would do so after returning from the Buriel Isle. Would this make Gloomfrost too easy? Should I wait until after I return from Gloomfrost? I would prefer to do it before Gloomfrost if only because there would be so many quests to finish up in Lonelywood after Gloomfrost. I'm also hesistant to bypass going to the Sea of Moving Ice to spend a week or so in the Luremaster's castle!

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Wait for as long as possible - after the barbarian camp (take 2).

After you have exposed Wylfdene, Hjollder will tell that Wylfdene has fled to the Sea of Moving Ice. THAT is when I would start TOL - before you go after Wylfdene. Once you finish TOL you are returned to Lonelywood and can go back to the barbarian camp in pursuit of Wylfdene.
