Wher do you find the gauntlets that ads + 1 to thac0 and + 2 damage?

To the east of the main road that runs from the BG Bridge to Nashkel.

Isn't there a swordsman in the Firewine Bridge sector wearing them as well?

Yea some guy is wearing them to the way east on that firewine bridge map.

If you are recruited to the bandit camp, instead of just going there, you will be challenged to see if you are worthy by Tazok. It might take a coupe of tries and you may have to use the few ptions of giant strength you have(haste also) but if you kill Tazok he also has gauntlets of weapon expertise, so technically you can get 2 pairs without hacking.

P.S. to be recruited to the bandit camp you have to be strolling around in the pelvdale or the larswoowd i forget which one, after your meeting with tranzig.
