I downloaded v 1.05 for IWD. The download came thru ok, but I could only open it with Microsoft wordpad. As a result, I can't use this patch for anything. There is no .exe file to use. What did I do wrong on this download? How can I get a useable v 1.05 so I can cheat.

Assuming that you are running IWD without the expansion [The Heart of Winter] installed, the most recent patch is v 1.06. You should be able to download it <a href=http://www.gamesdomain.com/patches/i/2391.html>here</a>.</font>

I received your message. I am now in the process of downloading V 1.06. Hopefully this will solve my problem of getting to cheat. I do need help on those beasties.

You are correct. I am using only the icewind dale. not the additional heart of winter.

If this doesn't work, I will repost my message.
