I just recently finished the 2nd level of Dragon's Eye and I noticed that those pesky Trolls sometimes die without the use of fire. It looks like if their phased and you attack them enough they die anyway. Thought it might help someone. I know it did me because I'm out of fire oil and I only had one spell with fire.

Trolls die, by fire, acid, and poision. Check your weapons to make sure that there is absolutly no chance the weapon will do any of that type of damage.

I have shattered trolls into oblivion but other than that the only time I could kill them was with weapons that have a chance of doing the above damage.

Another way to kill them without fire, acid or poison is to hold them (web works just fine) If troll is held his regeneration stops too and you can kill them. I'm sure of that, because I used the tactic of luring trolls into web with my solo bard.

they can also die from being stunned. if they get stunned and dont move, then you kill them, they will just stand still like they are still alive, but when the stun or hold wears off they will jsut fall to the ground. kinda scared me at first lol [img]smile.gif[/img]
