I am near the end of the game and just as i am sent back to Easthaven. The game freezes. i can still move the mouse but i can't click on anything. Any help u can give me would be great.

Do you have all patches?

This sounds like the dreaded freeze up after confronting RBP in the depths of Lower Dorn's deep problem in Icewind Dale 1.

Make sure you have the right patches installed and in the right order. DO a search of the topics in the IWD 1 forums. There is a detailed list of the appropriate patches depending on whether you only have IWD, HOW or TotLM installed.

Try this though after you sure that you are indeed patched:

Empty the contents (contents only - do NOT delete the actual folders) of your cache, temp and tempsave folders.

Restart the game from right before RBP and replay.

If THAT fails, try this:

Copy the contents of your Override folder into a temporary Override folder.

DELETE the contents of your override folder.

Load a saved game and replay the RBP sequence.

Once you are back in Easthaven, SAVE the game and exit.

Move the contents of the temporary Override folder back into the main override folder.

That should solve the problem. [img]smile.gif[/img]
