Arrhhh ive done everything and when i tried to find the pub ( ipresume its a pub) to find the guy to use the scroll on, and so im trying to find the Blade & Stars but i just cant find it, is it even there, thats wear i have to meet him, but i just cant find it, ive looked on my map and it says its on the south east corner, but i CANT FIND IT!!!!!. ive looked for hours and i bet its a simple answer, and i'll feel dumb, but please help!

The Inn is located in the area between the habour and the area where you first entered the city (a narrow mapsection)

the entrance to the inn is near the top left corner of the area'

hmm well i checked there, and i just cant find it, on my map that i got with the game it says its just north of the enterence where u came in, is that wrong?
i checked between the harbour and the enterence but had no look there either, im afraid im goin to require the dumbass directions please :D (o and i have had symtoms of poison, after i rested i woke up feeling sick and dizzy etc.)

Did you purchase Baldur's Gate or are you borrowing the discs from a friend?
I bought the box set which includes both the original saga and Tales of the Sword Coast. With this package came a farely large fold out map of both the Sword Coast and the City of Baldur's Gate. The print on the city map is quite difficult to see but the Blade and Stars Inn is shown on it. It's on the same area map as the harbor. You can find it to the East and a little to the North of that circular-shaped garden. Or find the Low Lantern ship (at the waters edge) and go straight North and it's located right before you stumble upon the inner city wall. Hope you find it.

Yeah i got the box set where u get a big map 2 too, but on mine it says the B lade & stars is just north of where u came in, like iun that little triangle bit between the outer wall and the inner wall, no where near the harbour :/ ... i looked hours there! my map musst be wrong :/

Thank you ive done it now, and 2 of my ppl went up off that 10000 exp :D , hmm is anybody elses map completely wrong then???

The map is somewhat lacking in accuracy.
