There are two bodies on the floor of the room full of broken devices on the lower level of the Ice Temple which can be picked up. I've been lugging them around and dumping them near White Abishai and Lysara's dias and the demon Aeij's altar but the bodies don't appear to activate anything.
I've even tried to resurrect them but no success. Has anyone any ideas what they are for? |
they are useless. just dump them somewhere.

Carried those useless bodies and cats on the bag of holding for the whole game and no use for them !!
Never mind about them Ed |
Donīt want to spoil here - I donīt know anything special about the bodies but the dead cats are quite important if you use them the right way ...

Actually, the dead bodies CAN be used along with the dead cats in the Severed hand, provided that you decide don't kill a certain NPC in the goblin fortress in chapter 2.

The human bodies and the cat corpse can be used near the end of the game in one of the Severed Hand rooms for an amusing sequence (and some xp). However, it isn't crucial to do this. And as Foehammer mentioned, this sequence is possible only if you didn't kill a certain something in the goblin fortress.
So, you don't need to worry about the bodies. You can dump them if they're becoming a hassle.
Nightowl2
|
Spoil me please I really wonder about the relation between goblins and dead cats. I slayed them all (the gobs in fortress) but I got lots of dead bodies I'm like a mobile cemetery! Will I have this sequence too?

Spoiler:
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . If you do NOT kill Yquog in the goblin fortress, he will reappear in the Severed Hand in the cleric's tower. You get a totally hilarious dialogue with him if you have the dead cat, dead male, dead female and dead child with you. It's worth up to 2250 xp. |
nice! but can u do it with just the dead cats and were do u get this dead child, spoilers are fine.

There are more bodies to be found as you progress through the game. Several in the Dragon's Eye, for instance, and at least one more cat in the Severed Hand.
The important thing is that the person talking to Yquog in the Hand must have a good intimidate score. Unfortunately, conversation is automatic on entering, so you don't get to choose who has the chat with him. I think - am not sure - you get more xp if you have more than just the dead cat with you.
Nightowl2
|
