I have played and completed IWD and HoW. I have bought IWD 2 bcos i will be getting a new PC in the next six weeks as mine will not run IWD 2. Is there anyway to run it. My current PC is a Dinosaur here are the stats:
192mbRAM
300mhz processor
Win 98
and an outdated CD-rom drive

When i put the IWD 2 disc in it goes to the setup screen but when i click install it just freezes the PC.
I had some problems uninstallin IWD but managed toi sort it out

Anyway does anyone know of a way to be able to Run IWD2 as it is agonising only be able to look at it, or will i have to wait?

Your current system should be able to run it, barely. If you have an AMD (or worse, cyrix) processor you'll have problems, but an intel chip at that speed should be just about acceptable.

I suspect your trouble is nothing more than a dodgy lens on your CDROM drive. In that case, a cleaner costs about 5 quid. The alternative would be that you have something in your system seriously screwed up. Fastest way to fix that would be to reinstall windows from scratch. Probably not worth the bother if your getting a new system in only six weeks.

If it doesn't install, or if it does, the graphix iz diabolical, try deleting all "Word" you dont need, go through "clip art" and get rid of all pictures it cannot use. Genarely get rid of every thing the no one uses, then get the "Dinosaur" to cleen up its hard-drive.

I am playing the game on a Pentium II 333 with 320 megs of RAM and a Voodoo 3 3000 video card, and I have no problem.
