Just checkin. Is Drizzt's class a ranger?. It would make sense that it is. Also is a high wisdom much use to a ranger. Are the spells much use?. So far I made a drow ranger duel wielding scimitars are he's pretty good. Also it says that when wearing no or light armour you have ambidexterity and duel wielding automatically. Does taking feats in those add onto those abilities or not make any difference when wearing light or no armour?.

Yes, Drizzt is a ranger.
You need a wisdom of 16 in order to be able to cast all available Ranger spells. Whether that is worth it, I'll leave to you to decide. No, adding the ambidexterity and dual wield feats will NOT add anything if you restrict your ranger to light or no armor. They WILL give you dual wielding capability with reduced penalties IF you are using medium or heavy armor. |
Thanks. I'll give the spells a miss and concentrate on the conbat.

well...if you're planning on dissing them ranger spells...how about taking a fighter...he gets loads of bones feats which surely make up the ranger extra feats by lvl 10 at least...and could someone please point any other diffences between the classes out?

Rangers gain bonus to hit and damages on certains monsters, have some spellcasting abilities, and can raise sneak and hide for one point each.
