I found this old beat up armor in one of the warehouses in town. At some of the stores it has a value of 200gp, but I can't sell it. Is it any use? Also I found a dead cat in a crate (i think it was a crate) but left it behind. Was it of any use? I saw an earlier post that said a dead cat had use in the goblin caves. Are these the goblin caves below the town, or out in the wilds?
Is this 'THE' dead cat referred to in the earlier post?

The armor can be sold in very very few shops for the money... cant remember which exactly but i think Zack (a little later in the game ) will buy them...

the dead cat has uses... in the targos docks you can deliver it to the captains mother for some xp... you can also talk to some mercenaries in the targos palisade and THEN talk to captains mother for more XP...

also any dead bodies can be kept and towards the end of the game they will have a use (unless you killed a character before in the goblin caves... the goblin caves are outside town... you'll reach them soon)

Later in the game, you will find other bodies (including another cat). These are handy near the end for a special encounter. When you save the Shaenegarne bridge, you'll pick up a bag of holding. This is handy for carrying bodies, since they weigh nothing in the bag.

However, if you kill the barghest, you won't be needing any corpses.

Yep, Zack Boosenburry buys them, but Oswald Fiddlebender as well, and he's available a lot earlier in the game. Those two Gnomes are the only ones in the entire game that will buy those suits of Broken Armor or Ancient Armor though, and there's no other use for them whatsoever.
