Always when she says she'll pay 50 gp for each bandit scalp, I think: waw! I'll be rich! But in the end, it always seems I didn't kill a lot of bandits, so...

Are there any places where there are a lot of bandits to scalp?

Is it possible to still sell scalps to officer Vai AFTER you cleared the bandit camp?

Absolutely, you can continue to sell them to her for the remainder of the game.

Nope. No points this round for Mr. Underhill or Ar-Cunin. After you start Chapter 4 (which happens at the Bandit Camp), Officer Vai will come up to you and thank you for destroying the Bandits' base, which disrupted their communications & organization, allowing the Flaming Fist to drive them off. She gives you a Rep. point and some EXP, and then leaves. She does NOT offer to buy any more scalps from you.

Don't fret; you can still sell your scalps to Thalantyr, and to the Bartender in Feldepost's, but for half the price that Vai was paying. Still, it's better than a stick in the eye.

Hah the flaming fist are so gay they can;t even kill those bandits themselves. i mean couldn;t they spare a coup of men for fifteen minutes!! i'm just outraged at the unfairness of this. Bloody Bandits plaque Baldurs Gate and are killing people but u go around stealing a few stuff and they bombard me with twenty of them. (Merlin awps out)

She only leaves, if you clear the banditcamp AND sell all your scalps after that and then talk to her a second time. This is, when you get the rep-point. If you don´t sell all your scalps, she will stay and continue to buy. Only make sure, to have always at least one scalp.

I think the whole bandit camp is quite unrewarding. Okay, there are some decent items in the camp itself, but experience-wise, it's a bit pathetic.

Maybe not experience-wise, but you get a full plate armor; that's important enough I think.
