Ive beaten the game once, but i stil dont think i hav a full comprehension of the game. Here's what im starting off wit now:

Paladin/fighter-high strength and dex, good charsima, party leader, main fighter
aasimar, dual wield swords wit him, but im tryin to find a shield i really like for cera sumat
Barbarian-human, tank, high strength dex and constitution, pretty dumb though, focused on axes and polearms
Ranger-drow, tank, avrg high stats exceprt for intl n cons, focuses on large swords, dual wield style
Rogue-human, great dex, avg rest, good wit crossbow, i might dual class her to fighter to get the 3rd profiency, shes really only here to find traps and lock pick
Cleric of Lathander-moon elf, high wis, good str and dex, avg int, low cont high charisma, couldve been another tank but i use her bow skills and ally beneficial magic
Sorceror-human, ok stats, extremely high charisma, mainly deals wit damage magic, a few summoning and ally beneficial magics, hes my main talker and trader, uses darts when he has to

All my characters are in the in the good alignment and my main reason for this game is to find the coolest equipment out ther.

Hm...you have a fairly balanced party and it might be fun to play with...you have a variety of spells...it seems like a powergaming party to me, but that's cool (all my parties basically are) Some of the choice of race for you characters are interesting but all of them work nonetheless...You might be able to combine your Ranger and Rogue into one character and maybe add in a Fighter/Mage, so you could have a pureclass paladin...but its an alright party anyways

I wouldnt have a Paladin fighter.....it seems pointless i would stick with one or the other in your case Paladin since you already have a barbarian and a ranger.

Well... I did a Paladin with 4 levels of fighter, and I don't regret it. Have you ever seen a Paladin specialist in the Long Sword (Holy Avenger)? That's something no evil creatures want to see... ;)
