k, I hate this place. The 8th chamber in the Black Raven Monastery is kicking my keister. I haven't time to cast protection from fire spells, let alone pick myself up a weapon. Any pointers????

Use a thiefling, or kill all the monks.

There is a spot in the chamber when the monks may attack you only one by one. It is in th middle of the room, on the left side. You do not see it immideately, but one of the monks will be stuck behind the other one.


Suggestion-use a monk.

I used a cleric and summoned an undead...it was a great zombie lord...he knocked away at them while they attacked him and my cleric got a couple of hits in there as well, and when the fire came i just had my cleric run! Its that easy!!

Anywhoo...My uber Concentrated Druid summoned an elemental......guy....who this battle for me...so it looks like summons are the way to go in this one

GOD I'M HAVING TROUBLE WITH THIS CHAMBER!

What is the matter?

I battled my way throught this chamber a few weeks ago and posted about it in the thread 'Roasted Midgets'. I completed it with my Fighter/Mage. The key tactic for me, was to use Haste, which allowed me to control the battle, by moving quickly into the best positions. It is a tough fight that requires your chosen character to have skills in both attack and defence.
