ok so this is the story i created my party a few days ago and started playing so u know the way it is battling trolls and other such beasties and i got to the beginning of the fell woods. I had my paladin talk to someone and i was told that a paladin would realize that the lady was an evil person and that a battle would ensue. But it makes no difference when i talk with my paladin. Could this be because when i created him i made him chaotic good? and if thats so can i change that mid game?
or did i just effectively turn my paladin into a plain old fighter?

You would turn your Paladin into plain old Fighter if you become Fallen Paladin. Then you loose all your Paladin abilities.

You can become a Fallen in IWD? Didn't know that. Is there any mod in play or something?

Wait a minute... are you telling me you can`t fall?

I don't believe that you can become a fallen paladin in IWD2.

However, I do think that there is a Weimur mod that removes the alignment limitations from classes.

If Darkreaver really did create a CG pally, he must have this mod installed.

Well, you've used no alignment restriction.... which is tempting, but not really roleplaying...

if IWD2 paladins have detect evil, use that first.......(can't remember if they have detect evil...my game has been confined to addiciton corner... and i cant touch it)

the trouble i had with BG2.... had to leave the country....

trouble is, i shall be going back to uk in a month... to do a bit of work... and... theres as computer..... a computer that can run... effectively... BG2- throne of bhall..,.. the darkest day.... shadows over soubar... tortured souls... never ending journey... with....(gassp) with........redemption, ascension, dark ritual, virtue, rein of terror.... and those are just from memory...

i've only ever played BG2 with TOB.... oooo...

and the good news is..... IWD2 is out of addiciton corner next monday.... ahh haha hahhh.... evil laughter...well sort of....... i tend only to play good characters.... though clerics of llolth seem a bit interesting......

...Wha..? You either use the normal abbreviations (Like :)) and it automatically turns it into one. Alternitavely you can check the graphics library at the very top of the page for some commands for others.
