I know this is a meta or powergaming question, but I cant see my paladin travelling with any non good characters, even though the game will allow it.
Am I hamstringing myself if all my guys are good? Would I be better off with just one lawful neutral type (evil is out of the question)? I can see one neitral type who doesn't always get along with the paladin, kind of like Raistlin and Sturm. |
I don't think it will hurt you really. But of bugger if people do those spells which hurt good alignment though. It never hurts to have a neutral person around.

You should have some variety based on the simple fact that some spells will affect certain alignments... And that some spells can only be cast by certain alignments, though they're all clerical spells.
|
...Not that there's irrepairable damage done by taking all good. I ran an all paladin party successfully, so its do-able.

If you have any non-good party members, any time that your cleric casts Holy Word (a very, very useful spell), you will stun those characters.

Yes, NON-GOOD. As in neutral and evil alignments. That's right out of the game manual.
And the evil opposite of Holy Word, Blasphemy, affects non-evil alignments. As in good and neutral. However you slice it, if you're neutral, you're gonna get whacked by both of these spells. ;) |
