I'm currently soloing with a drow druid, and I have the EOU installed. I like the vastly improved shape shifting, but there's a problem with it: My AC is too low while I'm in shape shift -state. With the blue half-dragon, I go as low as 10 with my AC. Now I tried to take my armor off (Hawk's Feather), and it did help a little, since now the dexterity bonus wasn't affected by the armor (max +1 dex bonus). So without armor, I got 16 AC, since my dex was 23 with blue half-dragon. But is it normal that your armor bonus doesn't work in shape shift -state? Or is this somekind of bug?

It's normal because (as you noticed) the dexterity bonus is affected by your armour/dexterity penalty if you are shapeshifted.
Nothing can really do much danage to you when your'e shapeshifted into a dragon anyway, so you don't need to have a huge bonus. [ 01-05-2006, 08:26 AM: Message edited by: Dragonshadow ] |
