What is the best method to defeat the big snake and the dragon? Long distant magic dont always work as these two are often not affected by magic. I just wants some opinion and advise. For the record, I did not kill the dragon.The snake was slain because she was stupid enough to stand under a lift and crushed to death.

I could never hit Erathsmador with anything but the Mavin. Maybe someone else got something else to work in his lair.
Close combat works well agianst Xydusa. Have lots and lots of poison potions or just live with being poisoned until the end of the fight. I remember the first time I killed her I long ranged her with a few flame strikes and ran up and around back to the elevator I took up to her lair and then blasted her minions as they came up to me. Then I got in on her close and whacked away.

Yup, hack and heal works on most of the monsters. The spider lady won't follow you into the next room, but the dragon will ... he gets stuck in the door, however.
