Maybe I'm stuuupppiiidddd but I can't see a way into the Castle...need a hint/spoiler here

Swim the mote to the left until you find an open area you can dive down into (SAVE). When you dive swim until you find a lever. Then swim until you find the grate it opened and you should be in a new area. None of these distances it great but you may get stuck so I always SAVE before swimming. You will figure it out from there.
